When I boarded my train to Gwalior I wondered about the school, its faculty and above all the students. For the most part of my professional career I was associated with residential schools where the management system differed from that of the day boarding and hence the restlessness in my mind. After my arrival and interaction with the staff and management, I thought my fears were unfounded. I must say that I inherited a very vibrant, far-sighted and disciplined faculty and students for which I am sure my predecessors too would feel proud. I am here to take the school to its right place in its chapter of glory and this cannot be achieved without the participation of all of you who are the pillars and life-line. You are always welcome to give your suggestions for betterment of the functioning of the school and I look forward to your active participation in this regard. All actions should be taken wih great care keeping in view the practical needs of the children .We as teachers should be able to provide the light of knowledge to the students who come seeking for it .
