It was a historical day for Computer Society of India Gwalior Chapter on 16 June 2007 when the founder chairman Dr.V.P.Saxena and founder secretary Proff.K.R.Pardasani of C.S.I.Gwalior Chapter were present in a seminar conducted at Nagaji Institute of Technology & Management, Jhansi Road ,Gwalior.The formar Vice Chancellor of Jiwaji University and also a member of C.S.I.Gwalior Chapter was the Chief Guest. Chairman C.S.I.Gwalior Chapter briefed the activities of C.S.I. and invited students and staff to join C.S.I. Dr.V.P.Saxena explained about the Institute and told that in near future most of the staff and students will join the C.S.I.

The first issue of C.S.I.Gwalior Chapter was released by Dr.D.C.Tiwari and appreciated it. The first Lapel Pins were also released on the same occasion.Proff.K.R.Pardasani delivered a lecture and power point presentation on Bio-informatics.

Inspite of heavy rains and delay in programme, large number of C.S.I.Gwalior Chapter members were present. Among them are Secretary Sanjay Bhargava,R.K.Vishwakarma,Ravindra Gadkari,Sudeep Garg,Treasurer B.M.Bhargava,Mrs.Ashwinder Juneja along with Proff .G.S.Tomar,Shri R.C.Shrivastava and faculties and students.Proff. M.L.Gupta conducted the programme.
