Prof. K.K. Aggrawal, President, Computer Society of India and VC IPU, New Delhi inaugurated the CSI student chapter, of ITM, Gwalior on 11-08-07. On the occasion, Mr. R.K. Vishwakarma, Vice president, of CSI chapter Gwalior was the guest of honor. An introduction to the mission and vision of ITM, Gwalior was given by Dr. R.D. Gupta, Advisor ITM Universe, Gwalior. After that, Mr. Vishwakarma threw the light on the activities of CSI Gwalior chapter. The objectives and activities of student chapter were given by the counselor of CSI student chapter. In the Inaugural Speech, Prof. Aggrawal encouraged the students to take up research in the challenging areas of computer science and also motivated them to be an active member of CSI. He congratulated ITM, Gwalior for starting the first student chapter in the region. The office bearers of student chapter were given oath by Prof. Aggrawal. At the end President, CSI Student chapter ITM, Gwalior presented the vote of thanks. In the post tea session two technical papers were presented by the students of ITM, Gwalior. The session was chaired by Prof. K.K. Aggrawal.

Computer Society of India Gwalior Chapter was delighted to receive National President of CSI in Gwalior on 11 August 2007. It was one of the memorable time to meet Proff. K.K.Aggrawal ,Vice Chancellor of Guru Gobindsingh Indraprasth University New Delhi and National President of CSI.

In the morning session Proff.K.K.Aggrawal visited I.T.M.College ,Gwalior where a student chapter of 150 student was inaugurated. Vice Chairman of CSI Gwalior Mr. R.K.Vishwakarma was present on this occasion along with all the execom members of the CSI Gwalior Chapter.In the noon session after lunch a meeting with CSI Gwalior Chapter execom was organized where he has declared that a National Execom will be planned in Gwalior also he praised all the members of Gwalior Chapter for the programmes the Chapter is doing. He was presented a memento by Mr.Nitin Manglik past chairman,CSI Gwalior.

The other members who witnessed were Er.R.K.Khetan past chairman, Mr.Sanjay Bhargava secretary CSI Gwalior,Mr. Dilip Shitoley, Mr.S.Bartariya, Mr.A.C.Pandey, Proff.R.N.Munshi, Mr.D.Pandey past chairman Mr.B.M.Bhargava Tresurer CSI,Mr.Deepak Pamamnani,Mr.Vikas Shindeetc. The meeting was followed by a press conference where Proff.K.K.Aggrawal addressed to the press people and gave information about the work and motto of CSI.In the evening Proff. K.K.Aggrawal addressed a meeting in N.R.I.T.M. Gwalior.CSI Gwalior Chapter vatern and execom member welcomed him. All the other members of CSI Gwalior Chapter were also present on this occasion. Proff. K.K.Aggrawal was honored with a lapel pin of CSI Gwalior Chapter. In the evening he left for New Delhi by Shatabdi Express.
