   Is situated in the historical city of Gwalior. This unit is set up for the manufacturing & repairing of transformers up to 5000 KVA 33 KV class. Manufacturing capacity of the unit is 200 MVA per year.

 

The present manufacturing rating for Distribution Transformers: double wound-core  type – step down –3 phase –50c/s is up to 1600 KVA  with primary input voltage of 11 KV and secondary output voltage of 0.433 KV  Power Transformers upto 5000 KVA, 3 phase, 50 c/s with primary input voltage of 33 KV and operating voltage is designed. H.V primary windings are generally connected in         Position and L.V secondary windings are generally connected in Y position. This mode of connection confirms to the vector group symbol Dy-11

Transformers are made and tested in accordance with Indian Standards Specifications given in BIS . 2026 & 1180. A team of Engineers and Sales Officers study individual customer requirements to offer free technical guarantee on the matching of international specification of the transformers . Each and every transformer goes through routine  quality control tests before dispatch. Specific tests at extra cost are also carried out on reaching agreement with the prospective buyer.
